The Milky way is one of 4 inhabited galaxies. It contains 24 feral worlds and 2 monasteries but only one monastery is within the galaxy itself.

The fortress monastery of Née-Charain is within the stellar mass of the milky way and very close to Earth. Due to it's close location and the consequences of it's location being disvoered it's actual location is never directly yielded. However it is in fact inside a star but this is never known. Instead a dimension gate is used to enter and leave the facility.

The monastery of Née-Dralnoch occupies the inter-galactic space near to the Milky Way. The Dralnochians are extremely unemotional and hard working. They tend to be very logical and are always about optimum solutions. They manufacture the deheadoniser mindwipe drugs used to pacify the masses on Altair Deu - a bio tech strategy trditionally abhorred by the Illúme it nevertheless avoided their reploughing.

- 0.98 planetary units. 4th planet from a yellow sun in a solar system of 5 rocky planets and 6 gas giants. Orbital cycle of 389 days with 24-26 degree axial tilt and 2 medium moons which create a axial wobble. 3/4th of it's surface is oceanic. The planet is currently in a medieval state. population 55 million. Managed, never wiped.

- 1.05 planetary units. 2nd planet from a yellow sun in a solar system of 3 rocky planets and 4 gas giants. Annual cycle of 334 days with 22 degree axial tilt and 1 large moons. 2/3rds of it's surface is oceanic. The planet is currently in a medieval state. population 112 million

- 0.89 planetary units. A lone moon, the only moon inhabited by feral humans captured planet in tangental non-planar orbit in an axial tilt, around the super gas giant seires. Seires is so large it forms a part binary system with it's parent yellow star. Seires itself has huge rings and the systems' asteroid belt occupies a perculiar Torus shape: The Seires super giant has pulverised all the remaining planetary objects. Alone Merén, the moon survived. Merén is the name an ancient real-life hero of the illúme. Merén is a huge distance from it's gas giant (about 2 AU) and is not pulverised by the taural belt or rings because of the super giant's gravitation wake: i.e. seires has troughed a clear zone through the debris over millenia. Merén is man made and has the most stunning night sky immaginable. By day the Taural refraction changes the sky of the Yellow star from pink to violet to blue in outstanding array of colour. By night the cloud is lit in a beautiful cross sky auraual light storm.
