Government

The Illúme government is by far the strongest and most developed faction of the Illúme people and their Jeém masters.

There are a huge amount of government agents all over the universe, and they rarely visit the monasteries. Often agents will be alone and on world for 30 or 40 years at a time, becoming fluent in many of the indigenous languages - before they embark they run the acclimitisation courses with the simmual. Becasue of their offworld tendancies they are highly disliked by the brutalus who view them as being far too likely to turn rogue and go native. (there are many examples of this)

The government is a covert special operations branch of the monasteries that is tasked to deliver the huge amounts of special reserch from each of the remaining 68 human worlds.

Government agents use crisis teams to conduct assasination and target extraction and questioning.

pattern state law requires this information to be delivered to the Jeém daily to maintain it's accurate predictions.
