Factory Age

The Factory age is the 4th age.

The Factory technological age is a fascinating time of expansion and rapidly growing sophistication. It usually occurs on planets when a single technically ascendant nation state delves into imperial expansion ahead of others. But it may include any number of such aspiration nation states so long as industrial, technological and militia parity is present. The domination of primitive states occurs which swallows up large amounts of communities but creates a developmental platform for all the inhabitants that is holistic and unifying.

This imperial power is almost always suplanted or fatigued, but it remains interventioist.

The factory age differs from colonial or expansionist ages of other types because the urbanisation that occurs rapidly also results in mass production; a key differentiating component.
