The Factory technological age is a fascinating time of expansion and sohphistication. Usually an imperial expansion occurs which swallows up large amounts of communities but creates a developmental platform for all the inhabitants that is holistic and unifying.

This imperial power is almost always suplanted but it remains interventioist.

The factory age differs from colonial or expansionist ages of other types because the urbanisation that occurs rapidly also results in mass production; a key differentiating component.
