Andromeda is one of 4 inhabited galaxies. It contains 21 feral worlds and 3 monasteries.

The first galaxy to be settled outside of the milkyway (yet the last to fully collapse after the fall) Andromeda is a mixture of early expansionist mentality and extreme isolation: Andromodeans were so far removed from the rest of humanity that they re-invented themselves in order to survive.

The monastery of Tia-Meré is on the mid eastern arm of Andromeda. They are a monastery of stealth and guile. There are very few examples of Tierénian agents being discovered.

The monastery of Krustjoor is actually outside the stellar mass of Andromeda. They are now the smallest monastery, having being nearly anhiliated by a rogue 8th agent 10 thousand years ago. Amazingly they were able to keep their location secret.

Known as the glowing hallows Née-Tridian is the most beautiful monastery in the the illúme universe. Unlike the other 6 monasteries, which were formed as part of a huge expansionist push and so are basically reassembled space ship structures and pieces of converted asteroid mass, Née-Tridian was a fully automated food manufacturing facility, a releatively new concept in deep space exploration at the time. Unmanned and run autonomously the Jéem faked Née-Tridian's original distruction and threw it, camoflagued, into the inter-galactic void for 1,000 years before slowly bringing it back into human space. With 1,000 years to prepare the Jéem managed automated environment created a beautiful city in the stars filled with living bio trees that form the internal structures.
