Meréndon is an enormous yellow star that the gas giant ''series'' is in shared binary orbit with. The [[planet merén|Merén]] (a moon) does not orbit Meréndon but the gas giant ''series''. There are no other system objects other than the asteroid belts and the moons of ''Series''.

Meréndon is an imprtant star providing the energy needs of one of the feral human [[milky way galaxy|inhabited systems]], so it is not interfered with. Meréndon is huge about 2 times larger than sol. [[planet merén|Merén]] is 0.004 AU from ''series'' and series is 1.9 AU from Meréndon.

Meréndon probably caught ''series'' billions of years ago and together their gravities seem to have demolished all system objects except those captured by ''series''.
